The Program
The program consists of the following parts:

main modules:
    Call handling, Fire, Accident, Ambulance.

specific modules:
    A Pronunciation, B Spelling, C Counting

Each main modules is divided into
    Vocabulary, Expressions, Dialogues.

If you are already a bit familiar with the language you want to learn, we suggest you start with call handling and continue with one of the main modules. In addition, the modules Spelling and Counting help you to improve your skills in these areas.
If you are not familiar with the language you want to learn, we recommend that you start with the Pronunciation module and then continue with Call handling and one of the main modules.

The exercises
The program offers innovative exercises which will help you to memorise words, sentences and dialogues. These exercises will lead to permanent changes in you long-term memory. Each main module has the same sequence of exercises.

For vocabulary, the exercises require to match words to pictures and words in your language to words in the foreign language. Also, you will have to split up words into parts and to visualise these parts. This will help you to recognise specific words in a foreign language.
For expressions, you will have to construct a visual representation of the words of a specific sentence. This will make it easier for you to understand complete sentences in a foreign language.

For the dialogues, you will have to reconstruct the sentences of parts of a dialogue with the help of the graphic representation of a word pattern. This will help you to grasp the meaning of a telephone conversation that you might have to do in a foreign language.
The specific modules Spelling and Counting provide you with playful exercises to improve these specific skills.

Testing
At the end of each exercise, you will find a test which will give you a feed-back on your accomplishments. You are also required to take a test at the end of each main module and a final test after completion of the program.

Remember
Please remember that learning may be hard work: no pain, no gain, as the old saying goes. Some of the exercises may seem strange and cumbersome to do for you. We hope, however, that when you have familiarised yourself with the program, you will enjoy working with it, and we are quite sure that it will help you increase your knowledge in the language that you want to study.
